Marathon Racing Rules & Disciplinary Regulations
The canoe marathon racing rules are published every year at the start of the season. Competitors, Team Leaders, Clubs and Event Organisers must follow and support these rules during all marathon races.
Any modifications to the rules will be made available on this website, with the category Rules.
Any paddler who is a member of PaddleUK are governed also by PaddleUK’s policies and procedures and also the Paddler Code. It is the responsibility of the paddler to have read and understood all these documents.
Disputes, complaints and unacceptable behaviour can occur within any sport. To create a transparent procedure and to enable disciplinary matters to be managed and resolved fairly, Paddle UK Marathon Racing Committee follow a Disciplinary Regulation document when required. This is attached below the racing rules for reference.
