Nutrition and Hydration Support
Nutrition and Hydration Support is currently available through the MRC’s official partnership with Precision Fuel & Hydration.
This support and guidance is available to any athlete who is over eighteen and represented Great Britain at a World Cup, European Championship and/or World Championship in the last two years. Athletes must also demonstrate an active attempt to train and aim to be selected to represent Great Britain in international marathon events.
Support is available in the following tiers:
- International Team – any athlete who has been selected to represent Great Britain at a World Cup, European Championship and/or World Championship in the last two years. International Team support involves a 40% product discount code and small group or 1-to-1 support from Precision Fuel & Hydration to maximise their potential.
- Development Team – any athlete who has been selected for development internationals (German Nationals, Waterlands Marathon and/or Sanabria K4) in the last two years. Development Team support involves a 15% product discount code. Resources and advice can be accessed via the Precision Fuel & Hydration website.
All athletes selected to represent Great Britain at a World Cup, European Championships & World Championships will be required to place Precision Fuel & Hydration logos on their boats for the events. Any athletes receiving support must not actively endorse another hydration product or competitive brand as well as be willing to provide content to support development of athlete case studies and interviews with the brand when requested by a member of the MRC or International Team staff.
If you believe you qualify for support but currently do not receive it, please email our sponsorship and partnership co-ordinator here.
Disclaimer – All Precision Fuel & Hydration products have Informed Sport tested. However, it is the responsibility of the athlete to ensure they know what is in the products they are taking. The MRC recommends all athletes to check every product they consume and that they should always take a “food first” approach to supplements.
