2022 French Nationals and 2022 World Championships Selections

2022 French Nationals

A team of up to 12 U16 athletes will be selected to take part in the French National Championships on the 17-18th of September 2022. Selections will be made from the K1 and K2 U16 and U14 races at the Marathon National Championships at Worcester. Priority will be given to athletes who have not attended an international race this year.

To be considered for this event, athletes must complete an availability form by midnight, 23rd August 2022.

2022 World Championships

A team of up to 12 athletes will be selected for the World Championships. The lead assessments for this are the 2022 National Championships and the 2022 European Championships.

We are aware of a clash for the final assessment at the National Championships for some Junior and U23 athletes who have made the Sprint World Championship team. Should those athletes still want to be considered for the Marathon World Championships, we invite them to submit their mitigating circumstances in writing to the Chair of the Selectors in line with section 4.1 of selection policy.
